Beyond: Two Souls – Review

Beyond: Two Souls is a single-player action-adventure interactive video game for the PlayStation 3 alone.
The game was developed by Quantic Dream and published by PlayStation

Short Review

The game focuses on an eight year old girl, Jodie who lives in a military base with her foster parents, Susan and Philip.
Since birth, Jodie has been having a strange telepathic connection with a mysterious supernatural entity, Aiden through whom she can perform telepathic acts such as controlling people’s minds, manipulating objects, strangling people to death. Though she cannot control this power as she is forced to seek psychiatric help after almost killing a kid.

Soon, Jodie learns to control this power through the help of paranormal activity doctors and Aiden.

Throughout the game, the player’s action will determine Jodie’s fate as she faces a whole lot of extraordinary challenges.

During gameplay, Jodie spends time training with Ryan. At this point, the player can choose whether to be in a intimate relationship or not.

At the end of the game, the player is left with two choices to choose from so as to determine Jodie’s final fate.

Beyond: Two Souls was released on October 2013.

    Sony to Release the PS4 Virtual Reality Headset

    Just another revelation from Sony, they have said to reveal custom-built Sony headset for the PlayStation 4
    The Drive Club team are currently working on it.

    A developer claimed that the virtual reality headset is similar to the 3D headset Sony released in early 2011

    In August, Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida suggested to CVG that R&D work on such devices was currently underway.

    “Y’know, we’re Sony, so we have lots of different things and different ideas in R&D,” he said.

    “When it come to researching things, we are doing a lot of things that we can’t talk about.”

    Sony intends to showcase over 50 PlayStation titles at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan.
    That includes more than ten PS4 games such as Knack and Capcom’s Deep Down, which was recently revealed to be an online title.
